Changes to print newspapers receipts

Due to poor delivery and budget cuts the library has discontinued many print newspapers. The New York Times, is the only daily paper in the library now, the current issue can be found on the General Interest Magazine shelfing with a 6-month back file nearby.

These  state and nation newspapers have electronic access:

St Paul Pioneer Press
Star tribune
Wall Street journal (Eastern ed.)
Wisconsin state journal

The following databases contain additional newspapers: ABI/INFORM CompleteLexis-Nexis Academic,Newspaper Source Plus

The local papers moved to the University Archives and Area Research Center  in the fall of 2015.   Electronic access to these title can be found in the  Wisconsin Newspapers Digital Research  which provides cover-to-cover access to 235 of Wisconsin Newspaper Association’s daily and weekly member newspapers from April 2005 to present (with a 90 embargo period).
