Featured MINDS@UW-River Falls Item of the Week

This week’s featured MINDS@UW-River Falls item is the 2011 CRSCA Booklet.  This year marks the 10th anniversary of CRSCA, an annual event honoring the academic and creative output of UWRF faculty and staff.  The celebration includes exhibits throughout Chalmer Davee Library from Monday, March 26 to Friday, April 13, and a reception in the library atrium on Tuesday, March 27, from 3:30-5 p.m.  Clarke Garry, Biology Department emeritus, and artist Gaylord Schanilec will be guest speakers, giving a presentation in the library’s upper level breezeway at 4 pm.  Garry and Schanilec authored and illustrated “Mayflies of the Driftless Region.”  UWRF student and classical guitarist, Elliot Novak, will be performing during the reception.  Members of the campus community as well as the general public are encouraged to attend.  Please join us for music, refreshments, and exhibits as we celebrate the work of the faculty and staff of UWRF and don’t forget to stop by the MINDS table in the library on Tuesday, March 27,  to find out more about the project.  Click here (http://digital.library.wisc.edu/1793/60817) to view the 2011 CRSCA Booklet in MINDS@UW-River Falls.  To see other items in the MINDS@UW-River Falls repository, visit http://minds.wisconsin.edu/handle/1793/209
