Records Management Basics will cover the laws, regulations, and policies covering “public” records in Wisconsin; the life cycle of records from creation to use, storage and final disposition; state, UW System, and local records retention schedules; and the proper, and legal, destruction of records. This workshop is open to UWRF faculty and staff only, and will be offered Tuesday, Jan. 29 from 3-4 p.m., and Thursday, Jan. 31 from 9-10 a.m. in Room 331 (upper level computer lab).
